1. Acceptance of Terms

By contracting PVGT Logistics LLP for freight forwarding, customs brokerage, or any supply chain management services, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms supersede any prior oral or written agreements between the parties.

Our commitment to excellence means we continually update our operational guidelines to meet international maritime and aviation standards. Therefore, we reserve the right to amend these terms at any point without prior direct notice, though major changes will be flagged on the client portal.

Continued use of our freight services following any such modifications constitutes your formal acceptance of the new Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with the updated terms, you must notify our legal department in writing to initiate account closure.

2. Provision of Services & Liability

PVGT Logistics acts as an agent on behalf of the client to facilitate the transportation and clearance of goods. While we strive for absolute operational excellence, our liability is subject to standard international freight limits.

• Third-Party Carriers:
  We are not liable for delays, damages, or losses caused directly by air, sea, or land carriers once cargo is in their custody.
• Force Majeure:
  PVGT Logistics shall not be held liable for disruptions arising from acts of God, extreme weather, strikes, or sudden governmental port closures.
• Insurance Liability:
  Clients are heavily encouraged to secure comprehensive freight insurance, as our liability is strictly limited to acts of proven gross negligence.

3. Client Obligations

To ensure seamless global trade operations, the client must provide accurate, timely, and legally compliant information regarding their shipments.

• Required Documents:
  Submission of accurate commercial invoices, packing lists, and necessary origin certificates.
• Hazardous Materials:
  Full disclosure of hazardous materials (HAZMAT) in strict adherence to IATA and IMDG regulations.
• Financial Liability:
  Assumption of all financial responsibility for duties, taxes, and unforeseen port demurrage charges levied by customs authorities.

4. Payment & Invoicing

Maintaining account standing is critical to ensuring uninterrupted logistics support. Standard invoices are payable upon receipt unless a prior corporate credit agreement has been formalized in writing.

• Late payments may accrue a penalty fee of 1.5% per month on the outstanding balance.
• PVGT Logistics reserves a general lien on any client cargo currently in our possession until outstanding debts are cleared.

5. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Kochi, Kerala.
